Deadly D is a Bellingham, WA-based funkadelic hip-hop fusion band comprised of two emcees, a female vocalist, drums, bass, trumpet and a live DJ, Deadly D provides a unique style of hip-hop infused with funk, soul, rock and blues.
Fresh off their recent tour of Vietnam and Thailand,Deadly D’s award-winning, feel-good music with a message has appeared in more than 350 shows throughout the United States, Canada and SE Asia. All while sharing the stage with the some of the greatest including Talib Kweli, Gift of Gab, Nappy Roots and Paul Wall, with a sound that has been compared to The Roots, Kendrick Lamar and others.
In competition, they’ve made a name for themselves throughout the Pacific Northwest. Scoring second place in 2015’s Seattle Hard Rock Rising: Global Battle of the Bands competition, they bested more than 300 acts. They also won the Surprise Artist of the Year and were named one of the 8 Incredible Artist of the Year at The Write Reviews - Write Awards 2018 and in 2013 won Hip-Hop Duo of the Year at the International Music and Entertainment Awards, where the title track of their mix-tape Light SiDe of the Moon was nominated for Hip-Hop Song of the Year.
